49 Conv Top Question
Yes, I have a lot of questions. But I am getting such good info here I can't help but keep asking them.
I started dissassembly of the convertible top assembly today. I have to repair a few things and want to polish or rechrome some of the parts then repaint it. Anyway, I am curoius about the COLOR of the header the rest of the painted parts of the assembly. Mine is a light brown color. Would this be correct for a car with a MAROON interior? Were all the convertible top assemblies this color or could/would they be the color of the exterior sheetmetal? I looked in the 49 shop/parts books and cannot get any info there.
Any help is appreciated.
