Depending on what it is optioned with I believe the asking price when new would have been somewhere in the vicinity of $3000.0

Sounds right. My 50 Pacemaker was 2247.00 with zero options. The Wasp on Ebay includes a copy of a receipt for just under 3K.

That's my Wasp. Now the latest bid on it is from a "50merc". That makes two lead sled guys and one rat rod guy who have bid on it. Scares the crap outa me!0 -
I thought that was the one you mentioned in the other thread. It looks like a good project, too bad I'm booked.
My Grandpa had a clean original 50 Pacemaker coupe that was sold to a HET member. After he passed away, the only offers showing up were rodders. Fortunatley, it was bought by another HET member before it got a sb chevy and a chop. I'm not opposed to that sort of thing, but I hate to see a clean original car get modified...0
