Does anybody make a dash wiring harness for a 1953 Hudson Hornet. I have seen one for a 1952 - will that work?

  • For wiring harnesses, try YnZ's Yesterday parts, 333 E
Stuart Ave. A, Dept H, Redlands, CA 92374, 909-798-1498, M-F 9-5 PDT. http://ynzyesterdaysparts.com/ . Thanks to Dave and Mitzi Sollon for this info; you should bookmark their web page because it lists a lot of Hudson suppliers. Rhode Island Wiring is another supplier of Hudson wiring harnesses, http://www.riwire.com/
  • I have talked to the guys at y&Z about wires for my 53, no problem only money. In fact they say if you want additional wires added, no problem. I am looking to add a dual headlight relay so I want all the extra wires included. This will make it look factory. They also do tours so you can see how it is made. Give then a call or every once in a while they are at the Pomona Swap meet.

  • Y&Z does have a good harness. As to the head light relay Hudson did not have one. With a new harness they are not needed but they only take one extra short wire from hot side of starter sol. to the realy which mounts at junction on radiator support.
