37 starter switch
I am looking for a starter switch (and knob?) for a 37 hudson model 77. The one I have in the car is a polished push button and does not look like the one in the owner's manual. Does anyone know what the correct one for a model 77 looks like? I am assuming it is the knob style that everyone else seems to have. Any help is appreshated.

It would look just like the headlight switch opposite it, with the thin shaft, "swirled" plastic button, and chromed round nut (with the little notches in it) which holds the switch to the dashboard. It is identical (as far as I know) on the Terraplanes and Hudsons. The switch itself may very well interchange to 1938 and even later or earlier. The button would be unique to 1937.
If you're looking for one, you might contact Robbie Williams in Michigan (he's listed in the H-E-T roster). He's been parting out '37's for years.0 -
