Nice Find!
What's the plans for the Truck - restoration - other?0 -
That makes the truck even better, what a great find. When my wife and I were down at Bill Albrights she spotted a set of old plates for our 55 with her initials as the letters, almost like personal plates from the 50's, so now I have to go to the DMV and have them assigned to the Hash. Not as good as the originals but still pretty cool.

Check with your registry - you might be able to put the plates back on the truck.

Check with your Sec. of state office to see if you can register those plates. Here in Michigan, we can for a one time fee of $35.00 register original plates and they are good as long as you own the car.0

I have the very first Indiana plate ever put on our Hudson. I do not know if Indiana would let me use it. I doubt me living in Pennsylvania helps the matter.0

Don't know but you can go to Indiana BMV on the net and they take email contact. We had a situation involveing Indiana/Kentucky people jumping the river at New Albany/Louisville to register cars a few yrs back, forget which way they were going, don'know what they ever did about.0

My Hudson was originally sold at the Irwin Hudson dealership in Madison. My wife's family is from Scottsburg. We are there a few times a year (being a military family). I still have the Irwin license plate frame on the Pacemaker.0

I have not yet made an official "plan" for the truck. It is in bad enough shape in general that a RESTO-MOD might be in order. However, there is enough originality that a correct DRIVER might be in order. This truck will never be a good RESTORATION, it isn't there. It does have the 262 complete with the aor cleaner. The drive train is complete. The rims are correct and the front bubper has been bent once. I also found the bumper guards.
My buddy called me tha other day to tell me he had a friend hot rodding a 47 udson pu! I thought it was wierd to have 2 in the same town, nuther buddy told me about one sitting in a junk yard right down the street. I went and looked, VIOLA, there it was!0
