Doug Wildrick's website...

I don't know if any of you have stopped by recently, or at all, but Dr. Doug does have a website on-line, and for some odd reason, I sorta spruce it up for him here or there... I would like you all to stop by, and tell me what you think...

This is not an option, this is an order right from Hudsonkid, okay, just kidding... :p

I added a few pictures, and hope to add some more. I have been working on a Natl' 07 page, for some time, but have been sorta swamped with other things, mainly, when I have a few hours, I try to get my hudson back amongst the living. Keep in mind, I am not a talented html guy, and have to figure everything out, on my own, so it is slow going, and a little bit of a learning curve applies.

What amazes me, is the work Doug puts forth into the cars he has coming thru the shop. I now know why there is a waiting list, and i'm happy to at least share in the capacity I get to in the general experience of his restoration work, even if it is mainly via the internet.

Hope you all enjoy my handi work, as well as Doug's that I havew been trying to showcase properly on his web site!

Best!

    Kid:

Nice job on the pictures, but I had one small proble.

I do not if it it was on my end, I use Firefox for a browser, or yours. On the picture page I could not see any pictures. The boxes where there, but no pictures, when I clicked on them they opened up and I could then view the picture.

As I said it could be me because I have a problem with pictures on the Hudson msn photo site.

Okay, try a "shift" "refresh", when going to the page. I use Firefox, and it should be setup great when viewed with firefox. Heck, I even looked at it in Safari, on a Mac...
  • Okay... try it now... should be fixed... my bad.

I was under the impression that Doug was getting out of the clutch business. Did I hear wrong?
  • he will need to further clarify, but if I am correct, he still offers service on the early multi pack set-ups, and if you send your hudson his way to be worked on, I think if he does a clutch job, he does the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. I think he wants to get into the restoration end of things, more so than a service end of things, but he will have to really spell out what he still does and does not offer. He told me what services and items he wanted deleted from the website, and that is what I did.

BTW, if anyone went thru and clicked away, and had problems, I was a fixin stuff, I could not leave well enough alone, and needed it to be exactly correct. It should be right now, and I have a little bit more of work to do on the HET nationals 07 picture page... check back on those tomorrow!

For now, I'm putting pictures up similar to how it is set up on the pictures page, instead of a slideshow.
  • I am sure Doug will step in to clarify His position on the clutches. My impression was that he would no longer sell the parts, but would repair/replace/restore, as a service of the shop, in which he does the work.

I do still do "in house" clutch repairs and also 1933 and older clutch disc, including Multi-disc clutch packs. You can also buy clutch parts from Ken Amman.I don't know if he has any throw-out bearings, but I know he has throw-out bearing seals, clutch cross-shaft bushings kits, pressure plates and clutch disc availible.Contact for Ken is in the Hudson club roster.
