    looks to me to be a 1939 pickup, not a 1938.

  • Don't know about the mud around the dipstick, but to find a a hood and a usable/repairable grille you would probably have to find a parts car.
  • I'd LOVE to get my hands on those headlight lenses! Anyone know what years/models will fit my '36 coupe? And where would I look?:)

    The area must have been wet with oil which attracted dirt whipping across the wide open planes and into the wide open engine compartment.
