Has anyone found a good product to seal the cork float from a carb? Geoff Clark suggested a 2 part epoxy, but I can't seem to find one resistant to fuel. What works?

I made the float from Balsa Wood for my 1929 Hudson Marvel Carb. and coat it with a few coats of Marine Resin. So far so good after 18 years. I am doing another float the same way for another 29 Marvel "Meadows" carb. Good Luck, Ron0 -
Shellac. I spoke to Dave Kostansek last week about this very thing. He said that the Shellac will not be broke down by gasoline.0
