Tell us about your absolute dream Hudson....

One Hudson I would love (and I've only seen in print, as I believe NO restored or restorable examples exist), a 1933 Hudson Major Eight Brougham, a real classic with closed qtrs and lines to die for! also I would love a '33 Terraplane 8 Convertible coupe, and a '52 Hornet Coupe, twin H with O'drive. It doesn't get any better Hudson-wise than those, at least for me! Scott0

My dream Hudson would be a bored and stroked, high compression 308 with a turbo and super charger. I would have every piece of body work I could redone in ultra light, ultra strong metals and carbon fiber.
In my dreams, this car would get back on the track and whip the current BUSCH Series V-6 cars.
But in my dream that is a little closer to reality, I would like to have a Bill Albright restored 4-door daily driver regardless of what year and model, updated a little with seatbelts, 6V CD player, XM Sat radio and back seat DVD player for the long trips with the kids (and Grandkids).0 -

1940 Hudson 8 Country Club LWB sedan in black, like Hedley Bennett has.
1940 H Pickup with a 308 and stick/OD tranny in Hudson blue
1954 Wasp Brougham updated to 308 Twin-H with a 700R4 tranny in lipstick red.
Sam J, My Grand Father had a 1940 Hudson 8 Country Club LWB in black. I've got a black and white photo in my old computer which is not responding to good at all. I will try and copy it to a cd or SD card then put it on to my laptop so I can post it on the forum. My granfather had the 40 when it was near new. My mum still has a photo of herself sitting on the side step at the age of one, she was born in 1950. The car was then sold to my uncle who then sold it in 1962. The car has never been seen since. NO other 40 H8 Country Clubs is known in Australia at this point. One thing my uncle told me is that the Hudson was fitted with a carter 4bbl carby when he sold it.0 -

Ah yes Scott. The 33 Brougham would have to be my favorite too. I like the more skirted fenders , the sloped grill, and the griffin on the 33 as compared to the 32 I have. I also have a 33 Hudson 8 Cvt in the "to be done garage" as well. I think it might look pretty cool some day. Ed0 -
As painfull as it is, I'll narrow it down to one. 1935 Custom Eight Sedan with functioning electric hand.0
