There are some things you see in life that are so unbelievable, the image is permanently burned in your memory. This is one of them. I was talking to an AMC fan recently who was mentioning that he'd just sold a low miles 1961 Rambler American, and was about 50% through a restoration on a 1975 Matador coupe. So, although this Pacer was a little off topic, I had to mention it. As you can see though, a picture is worth a thousand words. I had a little on tugging on me, so I couldn't chat with the owner of the Pacer long. I remember him making a comment about not being able to drive it, because there was no visibility.

This is kinda like the fellow in my neighborhood who has one of the original 3 cyl Geo Metro's with a trailer hitch so he can take his racing bikes to the track each week. Or the few summers ago when I came upon a model A (the F word) towing a Austin Healey 3000. I followed the A into a rest stop and learned that 100 miles before it was the other way around and the Healey blew a rod--et to the switch. The young man was a service man heading to his next base of assignment.

The pin & bushings are a tough part to find. One Jet owner in the club is looking in to having a company reproduce them, but is being met with some difficulty as they feel they wouldn't sell many. I'd put a wanted ad in the WTN.
