tire manufacture

Ron I am sure that Hudson, like most manufacturers, took bids on tires and several different tires were used. My '50 came with Firestones originally (they were still on the car when I pulled it out of the garage!), but I am sure that Goodyear, and the others were used from time to time and from model to mode.0

Thanks Dan. Iread somewhere that the Hudson Co. used predominantly BF Goodrich Silvertowns on the 53 senior cars and Goodyears on the Jets but I can,t find that report.I have a 50 Cadillac and GM used US Royals and Firestone Champions on those. Its just a discussion I han with another member. Ron0
