:):)Finally got the '49 super six running pretty good, let it run quite awhile, no overheating, runs prtty smooth once it warms up. The carburator will need to be rebuilt though as it has bad gas residue from before having the gas tank rebuilt. The carburator spits a little. I am going to have to replace the generator and probably the voltage regulator as there is no charge. I did paint the generator and perhaps some overspray got into the winding. I also negelcted to tighten two rear manifold bolts. That can happen when you work on a car little at a time, with weeks going by before getting back to it. I am going to take it out for a spin today as my wife really wants it in a Christmas Parade this Saturday and I can not dissapoint her. I will keep you posted how the car does, wish me luck. I also want to thank everyone who gave me tips, suggestions and encouragement to get this car back on the road. Thanks, Arnie
