Valve lash for 1942 Hudson six
With racing season in full swing I haven’t had much time for this Hudson project. It is a short block now. I’m looking for valve lash information. It is, the best I can tell, a 1942 Hudson flat head six. It has a splash oiling system if that helps. Thanks guys.

You set the tappets with engine hot, to .006 inlet and .008 exhaust, unless the valve cover plates are marked otherwise.
Some '41-'42's had different cams which were set at .010" and .012"
