Anyone need a NOS Rancor Valve?
Take a look at the pic. The one on the left is the one that came out of my 49. I am going to have it redone. The one on the RIGHT I bought by mistake sometime ago on ebay. It is brand spanking new. NOS, never on a car. It did not come with the original box, so I dont have the part # etc. Look at the photo, it is perfect if you need one. Just saw another one sell on eBay for $75, will take a reasonable offer from someone in need. Let me know.
PS, I would be curious to know what years it fits for future reference.

Dennis , I rebuild Ranco valves and the problem with the one you have is that it is very difficult to say with any accuracy what it specifically came from. Even with the seven year run for stepdowns there was a mixing up of models the HB, H10, H15, HA all of these went into stepdowns. Different ones went in at different times depending on what Ranco was running at the time . They all work on the same principle but many will not interchange parts wise. If you want rates for my work contact me offline.0

The ...kit.. to fix one of these valves is sold by a variety of folks ... costs I have seen range from 7-21 dollars. The repair consists of carefully diassembing the repairable unit and inserting a rubber disc and reassembling.
Good Luck with your resale and repair....0
