Something cool ZEROX is doing

If you go to this web site www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a card and Zerox will print it and send it to a soldier currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick who it goes to, but it WILL go to a member of the Armed Service.

How amazing if we could get everyone we know to send one. It is free, so please send one

We need to support our service men and women. I know last year we tried sending cards to Walter Reed Hospital and it seem most if not all got sent back, yes I got some back also.

Thanks, Jim Spencer

Thank goodness - I checked this out at www.snopes.com - and it is true. I've sent mine off.

It is sad to relate that to many of these wonderful ideas are hoxes, such as the sending of cards to GI's in Walter Reed.

I belong to another egroup, AmericanRoad - they have a neat quarterly magazine with lots of stories about the old 2-lane roads and things associated with those long-gone-days. American Road sent a bunch of their magazines and other goodies to the troops - I think they went thru Let'sSayThanks.

And to you who, for whatever reason, did not have to serve, I can also say a note from anybody "out-of-country" is welcome.

Hoopity, it is amazing how unfriendly some of them natives could get, isn't it.
