When I was leaving the Indiana Nationals and at the Ft. Wayne airport I talked with Jim Harmon a little and he said he needed to move to a smaller place and would need to sell off alot of his Hudson parts etc. I notice sometimes a Roger Harmon on here and was wondering if he is related and knows anything about this. I heard he has 1929 Hudson parts also. If need be maybe we can help him find new homes for his Hudson stuff ?

Sorry..My Bad....Its Jim Harmon....Duh :)

I would assume you talked with Jim Harmon of Banks, Ore. He has buildings full of HET parts & cars which he on/off says he's going to "unload", but he's been saying that for years, LOL!

The last time I was there he did sell me an original '33 T8 radio I needed but when I asked about an engine I was interested in, he said he was saving it to put in some car he had stashed somewhere so it kinda depends on what you want & if he's in the mood so to speak.

Can't speak for Jim, of course, but I think he is more motivated about selling stuff now. Sure wouldn't hurt to ask. He seemed to be wheelin' and dealin' when we had our NW HET chapter meeting at his place last fall.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not related in any way to 'buildings full of HET parts' , but my late Grandfather was Jim Harmon, form Painesville Ohio.

    R/ Roger.
  • Jim would like to sell the property and the parts business. He can be sometimes difficult to get parts that he has located to sell. His wife Chris ,has been after him to sell off as much as possible, in the past 5 years he has sold a bunch of cars. It will take someone with deep pockets to buy the parts portion. Lou
