Engine/Transmission Weight

Does anyone know off-hand the approximate weight of the big six engines (262 and 308), and also the approximate weight of the Hydramatic transmission?



Ballpark is plenty close enough.

    I weighed a 232 complete many years ago with a 3 speed and got about 1000 lbs.!
