Busted!
I gotta tell you guys this!
Ya know I haven't been around these cars very long but I LOVE my ole 36 'plane. Like the way it looks, like the way it handles and drives, and I've noticed lately, I like the way it SMELLS. I think it must be the wet clutch, but there is definetly a uniqueness to the light oil smell when I go cruising around the lake.
I walked in the back door with the usual grin on my face, Saturday after a particularly rewarding trip, and my wife looked up from her chair, smiled and said, "you've been out in your Terraplane again, I can tell by your smile and your smell!"
I LOVE IT...

It's probably an exhaust leak! I enjoy my '36T sedan also, however I haven't got much "seat time" since I finished the restoration, probably because I realize that I haven't actually finished the restoration!!!0

Dslim, you got a beuoootiful car there and I'm glad you're enjoying it! I thought I was the only one who got all giddy bout cars-glad to know I have company! I can't decide if I like it better with or without skirts-but I guess if I gotta pick-it's skirts!
Looks cold there, too:p0 -
We have very close friends that live in the Denver area that want my wife and I to leave Connecticut and move to Denver. Your picture looks very inviting. I can just imagine my '49 Brougham parked with that beautiful mountain behind it.
I like your car with the shirts on. Reminds me of my '37 sedan.0 -

You took the bait! I really did not expect you to take a skirt off you show off. I have a 1937 with skirts and they are kinda of a pain to take on and off.
I look at the pictures and think i like it without the skirts. Thats whats nice about having them i have my skirts on now and when i get tired of them i take them off ( MY CAR!) just to make sure were on the same page Thanks again Chuck G0 -
Those bodies in the thirties sure are Sharp with (or without) skirts.0
