Good Chroming /Guage Reconditioning references?
My '50 Commodore has finally made it into the paint shop where it's being stripped down to the nitty gritty in preparation for all the bodywork (not much needed) that awaits. It's actually a real solid car and no replacement panels were needed. Anyway, I almost hate to ask this question but are there any very good and reliable Chromers in Southern Calif that any of you would recommend? I am looking for show quality chrome. Hopefully that same business would be able to do some pot-metal chroming as well as straightening stainless trim and polishing.
Also, any recommendations for reconditioning and converting the dash guages to 12v as well as cleaning up the speedo and clock? Thanks in advance for you help.
