Info and parts for 1953 Hudson Hornet Convertable

I am looking for parts for a 1953 Hundson Hornet Convertable.



I need some stainless, body trim parts and retainers that go along with them.



Is there anybody possibly doing reproductions.



Also information on the correct wire wheels, leather interiors and color options.



I am hoping to put together one of the finest restored convertables.

You might want to list some specific things you need, here. You will get some good answers, this is a well patronized forum.



I know there are a number of people doing various reproductions out there, plus there are individual suppliers of exclusively-Hudson parts such as clutches, weatherseals, ignition parts, engine parts, etc. But not one or two "supermarkets" of Hudson parts with everything you need, at an "800 number", etc. You have to do a little snooping to find Hudson stuff!



Also, are you a member of the Hudson club? It's a great resource for finding parts, technical info and owners of similar cars such as yours. A nice magazine and many chapters around the US with local activities. Online at http://www.hudsonclub.org/ . You'll find a number of links there for the websites of Hudson enthusiasts as well as suppliers, and also some sites with technical information.
