I assume you are looking for a picture of a good original trunk mat for a full sized 53 Hudson?0

A good picture of an original trunk mat will be fine. The condition of the mat is not important.0

I have a decent mat for a 52, which I think is the same. I will try and get a picture tomorrow, the mat is stored away waiting for the car to be finished.0 -
Pat,
That's fantastic. I would really appreciate it if you get post a picture when you get a chance. Do you happen to remember what the color and pattern look like. I have a B&W picture of a 1953 trunk mat in one of my Hudson books, but you really can't tell exactly what the pattern is. Several months ago, I grabbed a fair looking picture from an eBay auction for an unrestored 1953 Hudson Hornet. In it, the mat matched that in the Hudson book, but it was dirty and appeared to be a pale blueish color.
Thanks,

Dave: Here are the pictures I took, If you need me to email them to you also let me know.
First one is laid out on the floor:
This next one has the top (a separate sewn panel) folded over, it would go on the shelf.
This one is the spare cut out. It also has two seams sewn for the small panel.

The best I could do with the pattern. The closeness of the camera does not bring out the colors. The trim around the edge is the same brown vinyl that the brown interiors had. My interior is blue and this is the mat out of it, unless some one changed it. The diamonds are an olive color, with off white stripes. From the age of this, I do not know how light the off white was, and the olive maybe faded green, but I do not think it was as green as the 53 interior.0 -
Pat,
You're a perfect example of what the Hudson community is all about, great people who are always ready to help. I appreciate your time and effort in providing the info and pictures.
Thank you very much Pat and, BTW, your chapter's site is awesome!
