HUDSON on History Channel
I was just watching the History Channel program called Hillbilly, The Real Story.
Near the end there are several clips of Hudsons in NASCAR, as well as some good info about Bob Flock, Fonty Flock, and Tim Flock, and Frank Mundy. This is a two hour program and the Hudsons are in the last half hour.

That is a good show, with or without the Hudson exposure.
There is another documentary on Moonshiners, I can't remember the exact name as there are a few "moonshine" documentaries floating around out there. It had quite alot about the Hornet as a "pursuit" vehicle chosen by law enforcement. I remember one statement along the lines of "This vehicle brought about the end of the '40 Ford coupe as the vehicle of choice for the runners." It went on, " For the first time, law enforcement could buy a car that was faster and handled better than the modified haulers."
Of course, the moonshiners soon adopted the Hudson and pushed it beyond what the factory police Hudsons would do. From there, the documentary went into the birth of NASCAR, etc.
I wish I could remember the name of that show, and what channel it was on!

Mark, I think It was called "Rum Runners and Moonshiners" on either the History Channel or the Discovery Channel.
