Auto-Poise cushon availability & grease seal ?
Does anyone know where to obtain front sway bar connector link cushions for a 1940 DeLuxe 6? Hudson calls them "AutoPoise connector cushions" They look like generic shock absorber cushion-type items, but if a specific replacement has been identified, that would be great. Also, when installing new grease seals on the front hubs, do the seals (felt) require any preparation, such as a coat of oil or grease. I know leather does, but what about felt? thanks for any help.

Try Dave Kostansek in Ohio, for those rubber cushions. Last summer I bought a complete set of AutoPoise links with rubber cushions, still in the box, from him. These were for the 1939, and the 1940 versions are probably different but you can check. Barring that, I think that the shock absorber rubber spacers will do just fine.0
