new 37 plastic knobs

I am going to take the banjo wheel off my 37 custom 8 for restoration. In addition I was going to have some dash knobs and some of the plastic badges on the window frames made up. Does anyone need some? I will have some additional ones made, if there is a need. I have a perfect knob to use as a model and a somewhat good badge for the window. As many of you know it will be many months before I get it back so keep that in mind.

I also made my own version of the 37 fender guides from red rod and repro guides. I may make some more, again if anyone is interested. I will try and post a picture (if I can figure out how, I know the instructions have been posted before). I took my prototype to the San Diego meet for comments and got a good response.

Well let me know. I have no idea of prices at this point but the more I have made the cheaper? it is?

If anyone would like to see the car with the guides, the city of La Verne, CA is having a car show this Saturday, March 22. I will be there with two Hudsons so drop on by.

Will the knobs have the swirled, marbellized look of the originals?

I have been in contact with Pearlcraft, in Australia, regarding re-manufacture of those knobs using the same "look" as the steering wheel they reproduce for the '37's. I was only curious as to cost (I haven't any immediate plans to repro them) but would be interested in knowing how much yours will cost, in comparison.

There is a company down by San Diego who say they do the marblized plastic so i will see what they do. But yes my goal is to make them as close as I can.
