Rear Shock Bolt Questions
A few questions regarding the rear shock bolts for a 50 Pacemaker.
1) Lower bolts - how are these connected to the plate? Press-fit or what?
2) Lower bolts - are they replaceable? Mine look OK. Just asking because the new shocks came with new bolts.
3) Upper bolts - are these just a pass through the rubber and bracket or are there some threads in addition to the bolt and nut combination?
I finally got the upper nuts soaked in penetrating oil long enogh to get them off. I just have not gotten the bolts out to drop the old shocks.

Been a while since I changed the shocks on a Pacemaker but as I remember the lower bolts are welded to the plate and the top bolts just pass through the bracket and bushings. There may be a steel sleeve in the rubber bushings on the old shocks and you may have to shave some of the top rubber bushings to get them in the bracket0
