I like voting for the Hudson's but it sure would be nice if you posted a link to the pictures of the cars instead of just the vote page. I kind of like to see what I'm voting for.

Being another hard headed Hoosier I'll just take his word for it that it's the cream of the crop !!!0

Okay, if anyone else wants to see what we are voting for here you go

you can also go to the vote page, in the top tool bar click on autos then click on joy rides, search around the page and you will find the candidates for the ride of the week. Actually the picture of the 40 Hudson is the worst of the lot, the car should have been shot from the side to show off it's lines.

That Looks Like The One I Restored And Sold To A Customer In New York City, Does It Have A 7x Engine And A Floor Shifter??? If So, It Will Run The Quarter Mile In 17.8 Sec, At Least It Did For Me Before It Left Calif. Bill Albright0

The Owner Lives In Michigan, The Car Was Shown At Autorama At Cobo Hall In Detroit Mich. A Couple Weeks Ago. The Owner Is Don Petco, Shelby Twp. Mich. Check Out The Cars In "the Gallery" And See Some Great Cars.0

I saw the car at Autorama and talked to Bob. It has a slant six from a mid 60s Dodge auto with a/c. It was purchased new by his grandfather.0

Oh I thought I was voting for a Hudson. Well, at least he didn't stick a Rocket 88 in it. I'm still kind of disappointed, and I think the slant 6 is a great engine. I just would like to know that the Hudson I'm voting for is all Hudson and not a Mopar with a Hudson shell. Sure the slant six is bullet proof and reliable but part of the joy of old cars is that sinking feeling when it doesn't seem the car will be going to start.

I agree with Harry. I also thought I was voting for a Hudson, not a high bread. Neat looking car, just would like to know that information ahead of time.

It Is Indeed A Very Nice Looking Hudson With Alot Of Time And $ Spent. So What If Its Not Powered By A Hudson Motor At Least It Is Out In Public Where It Can Be Seen And Enjoyed By Many Not Home Parked In The Garage Waiting For The Next Monthly Het Meet. There Are Alot Of Het Members That Need To Wake Up And Relize Not A Hudsons Have To Be All Hudson. This Is A Great Car And I Am Voting.0

Jeff, I can put a fiberglass body on a VW and it may look like a 40 Ford but it will still be a VW. There is nothing wrong with the slant six engine and the car looks great but it isn't as advertised, but we aren't voting for originals here, just peoples street rods. in that state of mind I still support the Hudson shell.
