hello looking for a fan belt for a 1949 commodore 8 any suggestions

    A Gates #TR 24407 might be a better fit then the TR 28423. The TR 24407 has the dimensions of 41.34" x 0.75" @ 36 degrees while the TR 28423 has the dimensions of 42.91" x 0.875" @ 36 degrees. The stock fan belt had the dimensions of 41.1875 (3/16)" x 0.75" @ 34 degrees

    Should be a number on the old belt - if you have it and it's not worn away.
