RE: Big Thanks To Club Member Rob Mackey
FYI- Here in So Cal, I had Rob do some mechanical work on my 51 Hornet Coupe. He installed an electric fuel pump, pertronix ingnition, sync'd and adjusted the carbs and adjusted the valves. Adjusting the valves alone raised compression in one cylinder from 100 lbs up to 130 lbs! The car was missing and the adjustment got rid of it.
I am still impressed at how smooth and powerful the car is now. It is truly is amazing how fast these cars were (and are).
Anyway, just wanted everyone to know what great work he does. He doesn't do it professionally, but he really knows his stuff! Niels

Way to go Rob! BTW is it true that I heard you were going to go into the casting business? I heard there's a big market for 55 exhaust elbows in So Cal.0
