A visit with Bill A

I got the chance to get away from work for a couple of hours so I headed off to Bill's to pick up some parts. I got to his place and the gate was closed. My heart sank but I decided to call Bill and lo and behold he was at the house. He had given his mechanic the day off and since it was cold and miserable outside he hadn't openned the gate. He still came out and retrieved my springs for me then showed me his new purchases. I am so jealous, he has a 50 Super Six in great condition with original interior, that looks almost new except for a couple of wear spots where the driver got in and out, the car looks perfect. He has also acquired a 32 Terraplace and a 37 Terraplane that look great with the electric hand in it, the first electric hand I have ever seen. I love going to Bill's, it's better than Disneyland. I was happy to see my future 49 C6 is still there waiting for me. I'm gonna be heartbroke when I go there and it's sold. Anyway, thanks to Bill for coming out in the cold so I didn't waste a trip to Fontana and thanks for showing me your new cars. It is a continuing education for me to be able to learn from Bill all this stuff I didn't know and wouldn't see if his shop wasn't there.

Way to go Bill...... Thanks for all you do.... I hope to get out there in the future to see Disneyland as well..
  • everyone interested in old cars, particularly HUDSONS is welcome anytime, a phonecall in advance will assure the gate will be open, BILL ALBRIGHT
  • Bill is right, I just dropped in because I could get an hour away from work but I should have called ahead. I had just never seen the gates closed during normal business hours, I was shocked. Like I said though, Bill came right out and took care of me and showed me his newest editions to his collection.
