Here's a pretty nicely restored twin H set-up, I think this one *might* be for sale, but as pretty as it is, sure would make a nice mantle piece....

Wow, a set up that nice would put the rest of my truck to shame. But it sure would be nice to install.

  • Very sharp, for some reason I really like the look of the AMC aircleaners.

They are Hudson from the AMC years, so is the intake and exhaust, probably a 55 or 56 Twin H Hornet engine.

The pre AMC air cleaners were more squared off atop the carbs and the intake manifold had an external balancing tube.

    Good luck!

hope you and the owner can spark a deal!

  • Jim Harmon confirms the info about the aircleaners
    nice lookin setup
  • The set is from a 55-56 308 powered AMC Hornet and all previous threads are correct, however, the exhaust head pipe will need to be changed on a 48-54 application, because the angle of the mount flange is different.
  • That is too nice to put on a car! I would put it in the living room, maybe bolt it to the coffee table so "Hudsonmom" could also admire it everyday with me!

Okay, I understand now. Thanks guys. So, did one style (square or round) work better then the other?
  • the 55-56 filters are said to have less induction noise
