speedometer cable
Bought a Vulcan "Universal" cable and casing that lists 41-53 Hudsons on the back of the box. It screws in OK to the transmission of my 48 super six, but the cable doesn't seem to fit properly to the shaft of (what I think is called the) pinion gear. Maybe not so universal. Hopefully, this is making sense.
Has anybody ran into this? Should I just look for a true-blue Hudson cable? If so, who might have one?
Thanks for your advice.
