Howdy,
Dang! Just a little one day setback. I was checking my rear suspension and my newly built spare tire well on my '51 Hudson and found that when my car was lowered the splayed leaf spring hit the spare tire well big time. I had to move the front part of the well over at an angle to a full 1 1/2" to clear the spring safely. Lots of cutting and grinding to get it all loose. My son Jay helped me do this. He was a great help today.
Not accustomed with dealing with splayed leaf springs.

Yeah, I'm glad I caught it now instead of after everything was welded, finished, painted and undercoated.
