Goodyear Tires

Has anyone purchased the new Goodyear radial whitewall tires? I think they have been out for a little over a year and would like to try some on my 1951 Comm 8. Also any pro-con thoughts on going with the 7.60 or 7.10 size.

    Scott,

I don't know about the Goodyear radials myself. They do look like nice tires though.

I recently installed a set of 225/75 BF Goodrich Silvertowne radials on my '49 Sedan. I used the stock 15 x 5 rims, mounted tubeless, and am extremely happy with the results. No clearance problems at all. I replaced the stock 7.10 bias tires with these, and the ride has improved immeasurably.

    hi scott,

i have a set of goodyear vivas (p225x15) on my Hornet for the last 2 years with no problems at all. They increased the handling 100% over the 7:10X15 bias tires I ran previously. Also they were half the price of the bias tires (new production from Universal Tire, Hershey PA.)
