thanks for the info on hudson jet drag car

I would like to thank everyone for their response to my inquiry about the hudson jet drag car article.I come from a hudson family but have never owned one.My brother has a 54 hardtop and a 54 convertible.I can remember back in the 50's when my dad bought a new 53 hornet two door automatic with the two carb 308.It was pretty fast in those days.However by the mid 50's it was not fast anymore so he had the 308 removed and replaced with a mildly modified mid fifty's lincoln v8.He surprised a lot of people with that car.He used it until the early 60's when he traded it to a local dealer.Do not know what happened to it after that.Anyhow thank you all for your help.
