:)Hi Gang, I need some advice please. I just installed an electric fuel pump that I bough5t at NAPA. There is no presure reading on the box or in the instructions. The counter guy said it was probably 6 pounds and up to 9. Any way It really pumps quite abit of fuel. It floods my engine so it will not start A presure regulator is the answere and should be set around 3-4 and a half pounds. Question? Where is the best place to mount the presure regulator. The pump is hooked to a toggle switch on the dash and is bypassing the old pump ehich I removred and blocked off the hole. Any advice or help will be appreciated. Thanks, Arnie

  • Hi Arnie, I've got mine on the firewall and it works fine. really any place under the hood where it's covenient to put it is ok and will work properly, just look at your fuel line routeing and put it where it mounts good looks neat, All regs are not thec same, be sure to get one that will cut it bacto 2-6 pds. I've got an adjustable one {1-6 pds }so I can set it where I want it . Bud
