Took the 47 truck to 2 shows yesterday. 90 deg heat. Kept the needle in sight by coasting down the hills at idle. On the way home, stopped for a milk shake and propped the hood open with a soda can. 5 mi from home, stopped at a creek and filled the goodie bag with water and dumped it on the radiator, whereupon the fan blew it all over me, but it cooled it to 3/4 and got me home.



Lots of interest in the old truck. One guy wanted to buy it on the spot.
