Hi Hudson Dave Here . I have been told by two Tire Suppliers of mine that if your thinking of buying tires to do it quick . Rumor has it that tires are going to take a 75% -100% jump in the NEXT month do to high petroleum prices .:mad: . I heard Coker took a 50% jump allready :eek: don't know if that is fact , But that is what I heard from my supplier . Thanks to my supplier they are locking in on Prices for a year . This is not on Classic Tires only but on ALL Passenger and Truck tires. :eek: . I thought this was worth passing on . Keep Them Going Down the road as long as you can afford to drive them . $4.00 per gal this is STUPID HUDSON DAVE

Dave I'm Going To Bite On New Tires This Weekend I'm Going To The Central Regional Meet In Fairborn Ohio I Will Be Passing Lucas Tire In Springfield Ohio 650x16 4' Wide Wites Goodyear $160 Each The Old Tires Were Installed In 1969 So I'd Say It Was Time There Is Plenty Of Tred But I Just Don't Trust A Tire Thats 40 Years Old

Dave, what would a set of 225X75 15 WWW's run currently? I think 235's would look better but I'm not sure they would fit on the Hash, I have found out I can't run 70's on it but I'm not sure if the 235's would fit alright.

That's some sad news if true.

Doubling the price of tires would be 2500.00 for the dually alone :mad:

My guess is with people driving less this type of increase will push a lot of people outta their cars for daily commuting.

The really sad part of this energy/wallet squeeze we're in is the people getting killed because the switched to bike, or motorcycle to save a buck.
Or the people pushing their cars on fumes trying to strech a dollar that are running out of gas all over the place.

Just the other day I watched some idiot standing less than 6" from the Fog line on the Freeway with his back to the 65mph traffic whizzin by him while he was trying to put gas in his tank.

Time to break out the wallet guage again :mad::p

Switching the 49 from radial (nice on the highway, harsh in town) to 7.10 Goodyear Supercushion 4 1/4 WW.



Ordered them via phone from Lucas Monday and they arrived in two UPS shipments. Front tires arrived Thursday and the rears today Friday. $160 each and $75 for shipping from OH to NY
