Yeah - I got some comments...nice work! She's going to be a nice ride,
That frame looks well built - did you do the work yourself?0 -
Is this whole project for sale now?
Looks nice, needs a whoppin' big Hudson engine I know of.0 -
Yeah, whole shabang is for sale....but only if I can get out of it what I have in it thus far....if not I will finish it....burnt out on it for now, thus the reason for thinking of selling it all....0

Man, I was afriad of that.
You have EXACTLY what I want to put my weberized stroker Hudson engine in.
Alas, I'm left here gritting my teeth - economics are not on my side. That's how it goes for me. Day late and dollar short.
I'd like to talk to you though.

Do you have the three Webber set up? Are you going to make your own headers? From what I've heard none of the currently made headers will fit with the Webbers. I'm curious to know if this is true.0 -

Its true, none of the currently available headers will fit with the Weber manifold. Been there, done that.
Its the two center tubes on the Clifford header, cylinders 3 & 4, that won't fit with the intake. Its not that big of a deal to modifiy those tubes. They interefere about 1.5" from where the center intake runners come together to bolt to the carb. You can cut the header tubes off at the collectors, do a slight pie cut up top just before they interfere with the intake and pull them to center to match the angle of the intake runners, add about 2" of straight tubing where you cut them from the collector - reweld, and you're fixed. When you make your pie cut and reweld, be sure to heat the pipe and true it back out to diameter. A small trailer hitch ball and body hammer makes quick work of that.
Way easier to correct two tubes of an exisiting header than to completely fabricate a new one.

Dude, don't sell it.....finish it. You've already got the hard work done. That would be one nice rod finished.0
