Wing vent rubbers

The wing vent rubbers on my 55 Hornet Sedan are about as hard as rubber can get and I need to change them when I replace the glass in the doors. K-Gap doesn't carry those rubbers and they don't know of anyone making them. Does anyone know of a set from a parted out car that are still in fair to good shape.

Since '55 Hornets share their body shells with Nash, possibly a Nash one would fit. (Not that Nashes are super-common, either, LOL!). Anyway, you might try posting a message at a Nash or AMC site, for a "Nash" vent window seal.

This is an item that all '55-'57 Hudson owners need, me included. Nash '55-'57 vent rubber is the same, with the wrap around front windshield. Rambler is different in '55, but in '56 and '57 had a wrap around front windshield. Don't know if the '56-'57 Rambler vents are the same as the larger Nash and Hudson. Could bring this up with Charlie Nau, founder of the Kenosha Connection. Metro molded parts would be another, or try K-Gap. If enough people commit , maybe they can start making some. They will need a pristine example in order to make a mold. I think we can get a good number of orders.

I also need them for a Jet.

This company mainly re-builts running boards, but they also re-built vent window rubber. Check the second picture down on the right side.
