This looks like a great deal if you are in the Michigan area.

Yup, I'll have to sell my collection of Rock Hudson memoribilia to get my next tankful..lol. Unless my Hudson is a daily driver, it really doesn't matter what the gas mileage is. Good thing is there are less illegal aliens driving around and its fun to watch all the newbie motorcyclist fall over at the stop signs.....
  • Everything's rusty in Michigan...remember the last great deal on a '54 Hornet from Michigan?

Oh, no, not the Rock collection! I agree with you about the aliens. They come here from millions of miles away, but they can't get the hang of driving cars. BTW, the people toppling off of their cycles are probably aliens too. LOL

That's it, I'm never going to Michigan again. I can't risk to come back rustier than I already am. :p
  • Hope To See All Of You In Michigan Next Year, We Can All Get Rusty Together. Lol

I beg your pardon!! I admit I'm rusty at alot of things, but not everything is rusty, Yet.

The car was in Trufant Mi. about 15 miles from me. I called this morning and it was sold last night. Story of my life.

    Gene.

That's what Rock Hudson was using on his daily driver.....
  • I wonder if the $4,000.00 price was accurate. If it was, the seller may be desperate for cash or the car has major problem$. I rule out uninformed based on other items he has for sale.
  • I'm fairly certain that I just saw this car (black 54 HH 4dr with Twin-H) today with a For Sale sign in the window that had a price of $11,500.00. I stopped, studied the price to make sure it wasn't $1,150.00 and left. Amongst other things, the wipers were missing, the skirts were falling off, the hood had been buffed with Brillo pads and chunks of rust were falling to the ground. The windows were so filthy I could bare see inside. It seems that the original asking price was accurate and the buyer is now trying to make a killing. $11.5 for this... Also saw a 48 Nash, 71 Lincoln Mark III and a 66 (?) Marlin when passing some Mom and Pop car lots today.
