Jet Hood Needed

The hood on the Jet Convertible is beyond repair. I would love to find a NOS or rust free, dent free Jet hood. I also need the Jet Liner emblems for the front fenders, and also the kidney shaped floor board section under the accel pedal for a hydromatic car.
I know this forum has limited readership, but the right person might see this request and life would be good. If anyone has anything or could ask around I would appreciate it. I am still trying to get the car finished for the Detroit national.

PM me, I have two jets going to the bone yard by the end of summer. Maybe something you can use? I charge an awful high amount however (1.00 a pc.) email me and we'll talk.

Are you going to post some new pictures of the Jet convertible. We'd love to see how it's progressing. I also just noticed your newest purchase on your website.0

Ed - Try Ken Amman. He got a Jet hood in the stuff he bought from me about five years ago. Granted, it was not NOS, but as I remember it had no rust-out nor any dents. In fact that hood was from the car I bought from your dad with the OD transmission.

I feel bad, I think at the auction we were at the other week, the Kirchner auction, I could have sworn that there was a nice jet hood, I wish I would have known, I would have tried to do something for you. Maybe you could ask around, someone can either verify this or maybe even clue you towards who might have bought the bulk of the Jet stuff. I know the Boyle's were there, maybe hey could direct you more. I'm not good at putting names with faces, unfortunately.0

I was at French Lake Auto Parts (central Minnesota) this A.M. and saw three Jets. I recall their having others, but it's a very large place and I didn't have time to cover more than a small percentage of the many acres. I was there on a mundane (Oldsmobile) matter, but took a little time to wander the yard in search of a '42 Hudson Custom Commodore Eight (very rare 128 inch wheelbase) sedan that they got in a few years back. I was hoping to post a couple of pictures of it on here, but it wasn't where I saw it a few years ago. It's probably still there, but Floyd (the owner) wasn't in today and none of the guys could recall seeing it. If I recall right, Royal Lancer is in Southwest Minnesota and probably far cheaper than a junk yard, but you might find French Lake useful for other things you might need.

I'd love to see pics of that '42 long wheelbase Hudson and the Jet Convert project.0
