54 Hornet - Which model am I?

The door plate on the passenger side of my car says I have a Model D, with no numeric designation in front of the D. My "Hudson Body Service Manual"

usually says, when describing a procedure, "(All Models-1948 thru 1954 Except 1C, 1D, 2C, 2D, and 3D)". Is there a Model D without a numeric designation? If yes, I guess I fit into the "All Models" category. Yes or no. ? ? ? ?

Thanks,

Doug

Doug all will should have a number. Read that as all 48-54 except Jet.

    1C, 1D (JET)
    2C, 2D, (Super Jet)
    and 3D (Jet Liner)

In 1954, the series designation number was the first digit of the serial number. If your car is a '54 Hornet, the first digit of the serial number should be 7.
