1948 floors
I went back to school and have not been on this board in a while. Well now I'm done with school and back to work so now I have money to start on my Hudson again! I need floors for it, I remember someone selling them new but I can't find my notes that had that info. Does anyone know where I can get replacement floors for a '48 Hudson coupe?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Well, I've sort of made them a few different ways. Some with original mounting clips, some with no clips/mounting holes at all. That been said, I've got two sets right now, one is 48' 49', the other is 54' and niether set has mounting holes drilled and I was asking $200 obo, a side at the National. Didn't sell any. The reason I haven't put the mounting holes in is because I can't find the new original style mounting clips. If your old clips are good then you can go back to original and the replacement panels will be undetectable from the top or the bottom. If you can't get enough original style clips then the mounting holes will have to be made to fit whatever clips you find.
I did talk to Jason (from the twin h ranch/ Bill Albright's) about the floor pans. The ones that they have made are much more affordable and the two different ideas between what I make and what they offer are personal preference. What they are doing is making an affordable floor pan that may never be seen from the top or bottom. A good product. I think what I make is for someone who is trying to go back to as original as possible. ...But, I can make them custom too. If you have a special situation with some kind of alteration needed to the floor for clearence or whatever, I can do that.0 -
Sounds good. Nice to know that I can get floor pans done like this. Rather pay the extra and get that original look. I am stripping down a 54 Hollywood and do not know yet if I will need a replacement floor pan. Will email if I do.

Okay, if you say so I will hold them for you. If not, they will most likely be here when your ready anyway. Do you need the thing that makes the carpet rounded too? Or not??0
