Front brakes

Put new shoes, cylinders, lines and fresh drums on the front of my 46 yesterday. I'm a little nervous about bearing adjustment; Is the wheel bearing adjustment like other front drums or is it funny, like the door locks? Also, the drums I took off are pretty scored. I'm sure they won't clean up on a lathe. Are they scrap, or does somebody want them?

I would scrap the drums since bad...
Bearing adjustment is the same as others. I snug the castle nut while rotating wheel to seat brgs, then I back off to the first notch/hole.
If not rolling free I back up nut more to next hole. It is better to have the wheel roll free with slight movement top to bottom than have no movement (Tight Adjustment could burn up brg).0 -
Thanks, Ol Racer.
