An honest description of this car as well as history.

I saw it several times in L. A. area as Mr. Rice, the prior owner from the '50s until 1989, was the uncle of one of my oldest HET cronies, Tim Rice, of Santa Monica. I saw this car several times & it is most unusual with English coachwork, great wire wheels, and very fancy brocade uph.

Bought my 1st '29 Hudson from Tim who later found a '30 Hudson for me to buy, LOL, as well as several other early ones which was his forte'.

He at one time drove a '29 B & S club sedan to college! Tim pulled a '29 std. sd. out of junk yard in downtown L. A. & a few weeks later drove it down the freeway to a VERY prestigious annual show on the front lawn of the famed Ambassador Hotel (where later Bobby Kennedy was shot) but of course couldn't enter it, just parked it on the lot at the back.

I remember seeing the 1st Frazer 4 dr. conv. I'd ever seen in that lot too (wasn't nice enough to show).

    Enough rambling - - - -
