Kirkland Vintage Car Show

I just got back from spending the day at a smaller local car show where I live. They close off about 8 city blocks downtown and I would guess there were 350-400 cars and not 1 Hudson (there where 2 nice Nash's there but no stepdowns or earlier) I was really hoping someone from the Pacific Northwest area would have a Hudson there - well I'll have mine there next year anyway!

I took my 76 CJ5 down there and had great fun with my dog and talking with people about cars! Makes me want the 49 back on the road yesterday!

I wish I had a dollar for everyone that walked by the typical custom (shaved, lowered, etc...) and I could hear someone say - "I wonder what that car is?" - kinda made me chuckle a bit. It's just with no badges, trim or other stock 'trademark' stylings the only way you know what kind of car it is is to look at the placard on the window. My Car Will Proudly Say HUDSON! I mean who wants to shave the lighted Hudson logo from the hood anyway? I think it's cool!
