flushing the clutch

:) While cruising in my '37 Terraplane, the clutch slipped badly. Adjusted it and it seemed a bit better, will get up to speed on its own, but if I floor it, the clutch slips. Going to take a sujjestion and flush it. Question: how much kerosene should I use. I plan on draining the fluid, then put in kerosene and let it sit for a few days, turning the engine over a little each day. Then drain it and put in Hudsonite. Dextron II is hard to find, been replaced by dextron III. I only use it when needed. Thanks for the help and advice. Have a great day. Arnie

Chances are the cluch is worn out. If you have the correct amount of free play of the pedal, and the clutch still slips, the corks are obviously worn down beyond their serviceable thickness.
