    This looks to be the same car that was owned by Max Hofferbert from Xenia, Ohio, although I thought his was a '27. His car was at the HET National Meet in Youngstown, Ohio in 1978(?). Identical down to the headlights.

    That IS a 1927 - by the serial number, 647636, it's a first series, produced sometime between January and June 1927.

    It's got a belt line, so it's a second series, ...right?

    1st series - intro'd January 1927 - serial numbers 500,000 to 610,275;



    2nd series - intro'd June 25th, 1927 - S/N's 610,276 to 706,270.



    So, by the serial number given in the ebay description, 647,636, it would be a 2nd series.



    Sorry, in my earlier post I identified it as a 1st series. Transposed numbers in my mind. Thanks for catching that goof.:D
