'37 Terraplane clutch replace

I have my '37 terraplane apart to change the clutch, however it has an overdrive transmission in it. There is no room to pull the transmission back away from the engine as it hits the floor board. Very tight fit. I have to do some measuring, maybe I can cut the floorboard back a few inches, then once the engine is lifted in the rear there may be room to pull the transmission back and out. My other option, pull the engine ahead. Problem,this car is new to me and I do not have the slightest idea on removing the radiator. Any sujjestions or help will be highly appreciated. Thanks, Arnie

Hi---There is only 2 nuts at the bottom of the radiator holding it in place plus the X-strut at the top & of course the water hoses. I believe you will have to remove the grill & shell complete with headlights in order to remove the radiator. Good luck.

It would be far easier to remove the front floorboard, as it bolts to the floor itself. Remove the floor and you have full access to the top of the transmission. You should remove the front seat, to make things a whole LOT easier. There is no need to remove the engine at all.
