Sam and Mary Ann have done another outstanding job on the Sept./Oct. WTN.

The coverage on the National was terrific. (Got a big kick out of the photo of Larry Figert Meyer! LOL)

P.S. Congratulations and a job well done to all the folks that made the 2008 National a memorable meet!

As you can tell from the above posts, the WTN was mailed on schedule September 15. This is the first issue of the 50th year of publication (Volume 50, Issue 1). Mary Ann has redesigned the cover for the occasion. The issue also includes the first print reveal of John Sherlock's Anniversary Logo. Every issue through 2009 will include 4 extra pages of color, and the July/August 2009 issue will be a special 72-page edition with 8 pages of color. Mary Ann and I took on the magazine with the Jan/Feb 2000 issue (we've done all the WTN's in this century). This is our 53rd issue, representing about 3,000 pages of Hudson lore. Enjoy!

NOTE: If you are NOT a member of the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club, send me your snail mail address at the email address below and I will send you a complimentary copy.

    Sam,

I got mine yesterday. It looks Great. Even found a picture of my wife and myself at the National. I'm looking forward to seeing the future issues leading up to the National in Pontiac. Keep up the good work.

The WTN just keeps getting better and better - they say practice makes perfect. With 53 issues and 3,000 pages that's one hell of a lot of practice!!!!!!!!!

And my theory has been confirmed - D J Kava has to be descended from the New Zealand Maori tribe. If you don't beleive it check his photo on page 21!!!!!!

I really got a kick out of the cover shot - can't get much better than period car, period dress.

Keep up the great work, Sam and Mary Ann - the coming year is going to be WTN "Collectible" year.
